Dosage and use: Obesimed® Max Forte is intended for adults aged 18 and over. It is designed to be taken orally. The recommended dose is 2 tablets, one hour before each meal with at least one glass (250ml) of water, 3 times a day. Take a multivitamin and mineral preparation each day while losing weight and using Obesimed® Max Forte. Obesimed® Max Forte lowers the levels of certain vitamins and minerals absorbed by the body. Preferably take the vitamin and mineral supplement at bedtime to help ensure that the vitamins and minerals are absorbed by your body.
Responsible nutrition and weight loss: Excess weight is frequently caused by excessively fatty and high caloric foods. These are foods like fast foods, high fat snacks, foods which contain a lot of sugar and starch, like cakes, pies and cookies. These foods often provide the body with more calories than it needs – the excess energy is stored in fat deposits.
How does Obesimed® Max Forte work: Omtec 50® is a natural fiber with a high lipid binding capacity. It helps to neutralize calories from high fat content foods. It forms a gel-like substance in the stomach and mixes with food. At the same time Omtec XS® extract inhibits the starch- digesting enzyme pancreatic alpha-amylase. It disrupts the carbohydrate digestion process. In this process, fats, sugars and carbohydrates are removed from the food and bound in a non-soluble form. These bound fats, carbohydrates and sugars do not enter into the metabolic cycle, but are excreted undigested. The calorie intake from fat, sugar and carbohydrates is significantly reduced. Also, Omtec XS® extract is slowing the rapid absorption of carbohydrates and has a beneficial influence on the blood sugar level which results in a lower desire to eat
Side effects:
• A temporary feeling of satiety after taking Max Forte. This normally disappears after a short time;
• Persons with sensitive stomachs or bowels might experience abdominal discomfort, nausea, stomach upset, indigestion, abdominal pain, gas or constipation. If the side effects continue, the dose should be reduced or intake should be discontinued;
• Constipation, nausea, bloating, satiety, indigestion and abdominal pain may occur in overdose.
If you still experience side effects please consult a doctor.
Interactions: The high fat binding capacity of Obesimed® Max Forte may also impact the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins and the active ingredients of medicinal products. This concerns, for example, the hormones in contraceptive pills or in preparations used in the treatment of menopause disorders. Oral medication must be taken 1 hour before or 4 hours after using Obesimed® Max Forte.
